Brand identity for The Popcorn Club, a group of performers that provides live entertainment in the form of juggling and comedy.

AKSEL
typeface [+] [-]

Aksel is a hybrid text/display face inspired by the curves of machines. Simple machines are simultaneously more smooth and more jagged than forms that occur in nature. By mimicking this paradox, Axsel strives to be legible at any scale while maintaining its idiosyncratic angular nature.

BIRCHWOOD PALACE

Layout and production design for birchwood palace, a publisher of independant books and artist zines.

TREASURE ISLAND CENTER
environmental design [+] [-]

An assortment of wayfinding, art installations, and interior design solutions for the Treasure Island Center in downtown Saint Paul. The redesign of this classic Saint Paul landmark is meant to bring modernity to the area, while also paying homage to the heritage of the city.

SHAKE IT UP

Album packaging and promotional posters for the album Everything That Makes You Wonder by Shake It Up. The visual identity for this album focuses on wavy imagery and typography, in reference to the album's focus on water.

WES PEDEN

Official merchandise for world-renowned juggling artist Wes Peden. The shapes used to make up the face design draw inspiration from the objects used by jugglers, but can also be seen as simple geometric forms.
